Video Marketing comes out of the stone age

There is much hype about Video Marketing being the new Internet Marketing panacea.

Self appointed, untrained and unqualified “Gurus” are inviting Internet Marketeers to put up low quality videos on YouTube and the like to gain Search Engine favour and get more traffic.

What these “gurus” sadly under estimate is the intelligence and patience of the general public, not to mention that search Engines like Google are not fooled for long, and they do not take prisoners once they are “not amused”.

The bottom line is that video marketing IS a very powerful rich media promotional channel for Digital Artists and SMEs (Small Medium Enterprises) and not one we should ignore, just because it is currently being spammed up by a few fast buck ebook shifting merchants.

Only low life scum will use stolen videos with affiliate links in them, to try and fool the audience. It’s not even a numbers game, it just plain sucks.

The BUSINESS REALITY is that video brings back “personality” to a much impersonal Internet cyberspace, full of “me too” clones and emotionless robotic “systems”.

Newsflash: People do not buy from robots. they buy from people they “know, like and trust”. Video puts your business personality back in front of your clients.

It’s one we cannot afford to ignore.

It’s one that Richie Says hopes to highlight a constructive, positive and profitable way to incorporate video marketing in to your businesses marketing mix.
